Paula Álvarez is a 17 year old filmmaker from Asturias, Spain interested in directing and developing audiovisual projects. She is bilingual in Spanish and English and is currently continuing to develop her own projects while expanding her experience in the film industry.

Since 2022, she has worked on both independent and professional productions, taking on roles in directing, screenwriting, cinematography, production, storyboarding, and editing. Her credits include Giro de Tornas (2025), a production supported by Prime Video and CIMA, where she worked alongside director Alicia Moncholí and cinematographer Lucía C. Pan. Most recently, she independently wrote, directed, produced, and edited the short film who is jane? (2025), which was selected for Corto Gijón and Corto Oviedo.

She is currently seeking opportunities to collaborate on film productions and continue building her experience alongside professional crews, particularly within the directing, cinematography, screenwriting, and editing departments.
